Iskra Sistemi is in the final stage of DWDM deployment of the »Balkan ring« project for Telekom Slovenia.

The project started in April 2011. It comprises 17 nodes in five countries of the Balkan peninsula. Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Macedonia, with a protective ring through Serbia,  are now connected to the DWDM network with a speed capabilities up to 100 Gb/s on each wavelength. Construction of the network was a challenge for the investor as well as for Iskra Sistemi, since the technology used is the most advanced in the industry.
