In compliance with its contractual undertaking, Iskra Sistemi has timely completed works in the Leščevje tunnel in the Dolenjska leg of the motorway, in the Pluska‑Ponikve section.

The tunnel length is 400 metres and its electric-mechanical equipment consists of: lighting, low-voltage distribution, traffic control equipment, video surveillance and fire annunciation.

The tunnel is integrated in the network of short tunnels and cut-and-cover sections with a common control and monitoring centre at the DARS central control centre at Dragomelj.

Iskra Sistem monitors the network of short tunnels and cut-and-cover sections through a telecommunication network, a common server and a common workstation. The Leščevje tunnel features traffic control equipment which allows quick switch-over of the normally one-way tunnel tube to a two-way configuration.
