In August, the Iskra Sistemi technical security experts completed a project of modernisation of the fire protection systems for several major transformer and power distribution stations in Cinkarna Celje with Siemens-Cerberus fire protection equipment. This project was awarded to Iskra Sistemi due to successful similar projects in the past, as all the installed fire protection systems perform perfectly, which is of high importance with regard to high fire risks associated with the nature of production processes involved.
Iskra Sistemi also arranged training for the personnel of selected production units and of the fire protection unit to ensure proper reactions of the responsible officers in an event of fire threat. Since the fire risks in the company are high, the Cinkarna Celje management resolved to invest in this modernisation even in the current economic crisis.
